The HYPOWER LAB project is working with the NP-ENERGY Energy Research Center and
the GRAPHENEOX Carbon Research Center to develop various hydrogen applications.
The research and development consortium is led by PhD, DrSc Yury Dobrovolsky, a hydrogen fuel cell expert, and PhD, DrSc Baskakov Sergey
Alekseevich, a carbon molecular science expert, and a group of more than 100 highly skilled energy engineers and scientists.
The team of fusion engineers from the research consortium is the leader in the development of the world’s hydrogen fuel cells and
the construction of the hydrogen energy smart grid, and is the first in Russia to commercialize hydrogen energy.

Chemistry Science and Technology Main Purpose of NP ENERGY Research Center
The main science task of the NTI center is to develop the promising electrochemical system for overcoming the technological barrier regading a new energy source within the framework of the end-to-end technology “new energy source.”
- Energy source: Battery, fuel cells including biofuels, liquid battery, photovoltaic converter.
- Priority: Reduction of power plant costs and received energy, increasing the energy intensity and power density of the energy source, increased resource and operational stability.

- Electron (Flexible electron device, high frequency transistor, logic transistor, etc.)
- Photonics (Photodetector, optical modulator, mode fixed laser, THz generator and optical polarizer)
- Composite materials, inks and coatings, energy storage and generation applications (batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells), sensors and measurement application absorbers and catalysts
